As per directive of Gov. Francisco Emmanuel "Pacoy" R. Ortega III to improve revenue operation and fiscal management, the Provincial Treasurer’s Office headed by Provincial Treasurer Francis R.E. Estigoy conducts seminar on Capacitating Local Treasury Operations to a batch of Barangay and Municipal Treasurers from Tubao, La Union at the said town’s Session Hall on August 16, 2018. Staff of the Municipal Treasury of Tubao and 18 Barangay Treasurers were present during the seminar. The basics on local finance and taxation, proper recording on barangay elections, local barangay budgeting and taxing and revenue powers of local government units were discussed during the activity.
