Burgos Conducts Public Hearing for Sanitary Landfill

Representatives from the Office of the Provincial Governor - Environment and Natural Resources Unit headed by Ms. Annalyn Rosario-Valdez, Supervising Environmental Management Specialist and her staff Ms. Diana E. Jutba, Environmental Management Specialist attend the public hearing spearheaded by Local Government Unit-Burgos headed by Mayor Robert Madarang for the establishment of sanitary landfill facility at Brgy. Tumapoc, Burgos, La Union on August 6, 2020. Ms. Valdez discussed the salient components of a sanitary landfill facility and assured that the Provincial Government of La Union will support the LGU in the establishment of sanitary landfill facility.
