BM Concepcion extends assistance for Brigada Eskwela 2018

Board Member Carlo Castor U. Concepcion distributed school supplies to the Kindergarten and Elementary pupils of Padang Primary School (PPS) in Brgy. Bumbuneg, San Gabriel, La Union on May 28, 2018 in preparation for the incoming S.Y. 2018-2019 and in contribution to the nationwide Brigada Eskwela 2018.
The activity of serving far flung community schools in the province is in line with the goal of the Provincial Government of La Union on inclusive growth.
“Agtultuloy ti suportak ti programa ken proyekto ditoy Padang Primary School kas maysa a Bokal ti umuna a Distrito ti probinsia ti La Union,” said BM Concepcion in his short message to the pupils, teachers, and parents of PPS before the distribution.
The pupils responded and said in unison, “Thank you very much Sir. Agadal kami ken agsingsingpet kami. Saan kami agbangbangad.”
Mrs. Lydia L. Manzano, Head Teacher III of PPS, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to BM Concepcion for the opportunity of having this kind of aid for the school children.
After getting their school supplies, the pupils actively participated in the fun games. Winners were given toys as their prizes.
A total of 93 PPS pupils were given school supplies. This is the second year BM Concepcion gave school supplies to Padang Primary School pupils. Last year, he initiated the said activity with the former school head of PPS, Ms. Cindy Sumao-i, who was one of his teachers back in grade school.
Other recipients of school supplies were pupils of Lipay Integrated School and Antonino Memorial Elementary School, both in San Gabriel, La Union
