In celebration of the 169th foundation anniversary of the province of La Union, BLDH conducted an outreach program last february 22, 2019 at Nagsabaran Sur Elementary School to promote health and wellness. Activities include lectures about adolescent health, rabies awareness, dengue awareness, steps of proper handwashing, and Bullying. There's also free medical and dental check ups with free medicine and hygiene kit and feeding program. 144 pupils from NSES and 26 pupils from Nagsabaran Sur Daycare Center were benefitted. Nagsabaran Sur is the remotest barangay of Balaoan who has difficult access to health considering the arduous travel to get there. BLDH is glad to be a catalyst in fulfilling the governor's desire for Happy and Healthy La Union.
