BLDH Celebrates National Buntis Day

Balaoan District Hospital (BLDH) headed by Dr. Mark Anthony S. Tomboc, joins the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society in celebrating National Buntis Day on March 7-10, 2022.

Thirty-two pregnant women attended the virtual lectures promoting their wellness as well as their child’s by preparing them for a healthy pregnancy and newborn care. This activity was conducted through the initiative of Dr. Claire Maramat-Lucina, Medical Specialist (OB-Gyne) of BLDH, making sure all pregnant patients coming to BLDH for consultation will be well-informed and prepared for giving birth to avoid accidents and complications.

"Araw ng mga Buntis" is celebrated annually on the 10th day of March in view of the Proclamation No. 569, s. 2004.
