Benefits of Breastfeeding Discussed in BLDH

Nurse II Ms. Catherine Emyruth Valdez of Balaoan District Hospital (BLDH) discusses to pregnant and lactating women the benefits of breastfeeding on August 5, 2019 at the out-patient department of BLDH, Balaoan, La Union. This is in observance of the National Breastfeeding Awareness Month. She stressed the significance of breastfeeding to mother and baby's health. BLDH promotes breastfeeding by not allowing formula milk and feeding bottles inside the hospital premises.
