BDH FRONTLINERS RECEIVE THEIR FIRST DOSE OF COVID19 VACCINE

BDH ON BIDA #RESBAKUNA. A total of 91 health workers from the Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) have already received their first dose of the vaccine as of March 22, 2021. “Vaccination is our best transportation out of the pandemic coupled with continuing adherence to minimum health protocols, so when your time to receive the vaccine comes, receive it with joy and anticipation of a CoViD-free future,” Dr. Zenserly Pagaduan, BDH Chief of Hospital says as she prays for a 100% fully vaccinated BDH and La Union healthcare personnel.
Following Bacnotan District Hospital’s (BDH’s) receipt of the first batch of vaccines allocated for them, 91 healthcare workers or 73% of the total employees of the said hospital received their first dose as of March 22, 2021. The remaining personnel are expected to be vaccinated as soon as the additional vaccines will be received.
A total of 125 frontliners from BDH, Hemotek, Rural Health Unit of Bacnotan, local government unit of San Juan have already received their first dose in Bacnotan District Hospital from March 9-22, 2021.

Even if fully vaccinated, some restrictions should still remain in place since the virus is still in circulation. Minimum safety protocols like wearing masks, social distancing, proper handwashing, and doing away from unnecessary travels are still recommended to cease the rapid increase in infection and spread of the virus.
