RAISING AWARENESS. Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III and Mutia ti La Union 2018 Candidates participate in the releasing of baby sea turtles in partnership with SIFCare (Science of Identity Foundation): Project Coastal Underwater Resource Management Action (CURMA) on January 20, 2018 at Urbiztondo Beach, San Juan, La Union. The turtles are vital in maintaining the healthy ecology of the ocean as they help control the jelly fish population and they eat sea grass and algae.

Nisce II, Vice President of Operations and Director of Rang-ay lead the blessing and inauguration of Rang-ay San Fernando Highway Branch on January 16. It is the 3rd branch in the City of San Fernando and is another milestone for Rang-ay Bank in celebration of its 62nd Anniversary.

PGLU and 1590 EC Partnership
PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP. Governor Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III and Mr. Arlo AG Sarmiento, President of 1590 Energy Corp., lead the signing of a five-year Lease Agreement for the operation, maintenance & rehabilitation of the Bauang Diesel Power Plant (BDPP). Said partnership project under the La Union PPP Code (SP Ordinance No. 096 – 2016) ensures that the 215 – Megawatt BDPP will continue to contribute to the stability of power supply and provision of ancillary services to the Grid. The partnership signed on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union will take effect on January 2019. Also in photo are Vice Governor Aureo Augusto Q.
