The Provincial Government of La Union extends its heartfelt congratulations to the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗻 for being hailed as the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 and garnering the 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 in the Manila Times: PH Model Municipalities and Cities 2024.
We also congratulate Bacnotan 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗖. 𝗙𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 for being recognized as a 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗲 – 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 by the Civil Service Commission – Honor Awards Program.

Si Dr. Meimban ay isang Historian at author ng librong “La Union: The Making of a Province, 1850-1921,” na naging daan upang mas makilala ng buong La Union at buong Pilipinas ang makulay na pinagmulan ng probinsya.
Sa kanyang akda, mananatiling buhay sa aming puso’t isip ang kanyang mga kwento, aral, at alaala.

Pinapayuhan po ang mga motorista at commuters na dumaan sa alternative routes o ‘di naman kaya ay maagang bumyahe upang hindi maabala.
