The La Union Provincial Jail (LUPJ) was awarded a Certificate of Commendation from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region I for its successful implementation of the Drug Clearing Program in Controlled Facilities in compliance with Dangerous Drugs Board Resolution No. 2, series of 2020.

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), in partnership with Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus (DMMMSU-MLUC) Trabaho Center, held a Skills and Employability Enhancement Training for Young Jobseekers on November 6, 2024, at the DMMMSU Covered Court, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Dahil sa ating patuloy na pakikipag La Union PROBINSYAnihan, ang Provincial Government of La Union, kabilang ang lahat ng component Local Government Units, ay binigyang pagkilala ng Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (ADAC) dahil sa kanilang High Functional Ratings sa ginawang 2022 Anti-Drug Abuse Council Functionality Audit. ✨
Kinalala din ng ADAC ang mga bayan ng Bacnotan, Bagulin, Balaoan, Bauang, Burgos, Caba, Luna, San Juan, Santo Tomas, at Tubao, bilang mga 2024 Performance Awardees. ✨
Sama-sama nating puksain ang mga iligal na droga para sa mas maayos at progresibong probinsya. 💜💜💜
