Yesterday, May 13, 2021, the group convened the Senior Citizen Association Presidents from the Municipality of San Gabriel to empower the senior citizen leaders. The FGD provided credible and verified information to enlighten the senior citizens and avoid CoViD-19 vaccine misinformation.

The ADGSMG also converged with Advocacy and Demand Generation Officers of the component Local Government Units (LGUs) wherein they discussed the challenges and shared best practices to increase the vaccine demand in their respective areas. These sessions shall serve as avenue to communicate with our counterparts, strengthen our strategies, and enable our LGUs.
The CVP-TF shall continue to champion data-driven approaches to communicate the provinceโs CoViD-19 vaccination campaign – ๐ฝ๐๐ ๐ช๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ช๐ฃ๐.

Gov. Francisco Emmanuel โPacoyโ R. Ortega III signs the Documentary Feature Proponent Award Agreement together with the top five local cinematographers and filmmakers as official festival finalists of the INAIG: Dokyu-Kalikasan Fest on May 12, 2021 via video conferencing. Each team will receive a financial incentive of Php50,000.00 from the provincial government which will be used to produce 15 to 20-minute documentary features focused on actual stories embedded in the beauty and importance of La Unionโs natural endowments, resources and landscapes.
Gov. Francisco Emmanuel โPacoyโ R. Ortega III and Gov. Matthew Joseph โMJโ Marcos Manotoc both representing their provinces sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the La Union-Ilocos Norte concept of tourism co-operative marketing dubbed as IโM IN LUv: Tourism Marketing and Promotions Partnership. It will be a strategic program geared for expanding networks and creating local government collaboration towards projecting an image for both tourism havens as safe and worthy travel destinations in the New Normal. The MOU signing took place on May 12, 2021 via video conferencing.
