Gov. Rafy Aims for Disaster Resilient Province: Empowers Provincial and Local DRRMO

Following Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David’s P.U.S.O. Agenda on the Orderly, Sustainable, and Resilient Component LGUs and Barangays, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) together with all the Local DRRM Officers from the 20 component Local Government Units (LGU) of the La Union, convened for a courtesy call and meeting with the lady governor on July 19, 2022 at the La Union Peace, Order and Safety (LUPOS) Emergency Operation Center Building.

Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David assured to uphold the welfare and interest of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the province by giving them equal opportunities and support in the mainstream society during the celebration of the National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week held on July 19, 2022 at the Municipal Hall of Bagulin, La Union.

Aiming to establish the Elyukano Center for Ilokano Studies in the province, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of the Province of La Union has approved a resolution that authorizes Gov. Raphaelle Veronica Ortega-David to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU).
