PGLU Continues to Uphold Employee Recognition

The Provincial Government of La Union opens the month of April with a sense of unity, pride, and appreciation as employees are recognized for their service and dedication. Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David facilitated the mass-oathtaking of nine newly-appointed employees, guiding them as they signify their dedication to serving every KaPROBINSYAnihan. With her vision of transformative and people-centered governance, Gov. Rafy instills the necessary values in the new employees as they transition seamlessly into the workforce.
Those who took their oath were Tourism Operations Officer I Joy Ann L. Gurtiza from the La Union Provincial Tourism Office; Medical Equipment Technician I Eugenio U. Oclarit, Administrative Officer IV Jumar E. Calip, and Medical Technologist I Hanahniah M. Chan Pinco from the Provincial Health Office; Environmental Management Specialist I Grace L. Libong from the Provincial Government - Environment and Natural Resource Office; Social Welfare Officer III Edrelly E. Estipular, Administrative Assistant II Allan D. Runas, and Administrative Officer II Richelle C. Guron from the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office; and Administrative Assistant III Marlyn M. Ancheta from Provincial Budget Office.
On the other hand, Christopher M. Anden, Laborer I, from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Office, was given a service award for rendering 17 years of valuable work to the PGLU. His notable contributions as an employee were given recognition as he retired from government service.
The oathtaking and granting of service awards underline the effort of the employees in attaining the vision and goals of PGLU. It reinforces their devotion to their field and reminds them of the true essence of what they do – all for the love of La Union.
