Gov. Rafy Emphasizes Love and Unity during 174th LUFA Flag Raising Ceremony

In celebration of the 174th La Union Founding Anniversary, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) conducted a Flag Raising Ceremony on Saturday, March 02, 2024, at the Capitol Grounds, City of San Fernando, La Union.

The ceremony was led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David, Sangguniang Panlalawigan headed by Vice Governor Mario Eduardo Ortega, City and Municipal Officials, 1st and 2nd District Current and Former Board Members, Sangguniang Bayan, Sangguniang Panlungsod, PGLU Department and Unit Heads, Chiefs of Hospitals, and employees.

Part of the program was the presentation of the history of La Union, highlighting significant milestones of the province that played a huge part in bringing positive changes to every KaPROBINSYAnihan and building a brighter future for La Union.

“With love and unity, I am confident that we will bring all of La Union to break through the glass ceilings set by those who limit us in achieving our aspirations. Hoping that we all work together as one strong province inspired and driven by a shared vision to uplift the lives of each and every citizen of our beloved province of La Union,” Gov. Rafy proudly said.

The ceremony is a constant reminder of the rich history, enduring spirit, and vibrant future of this beloved province as the governor highlighted in her message.

The 174th La Union Founding Anniversary is hoped to be the springboard of the province for its continued progress, unity, and prosperity that shall benefit all KaPROBINSYAnihan.
