PGLU's December First Monday Flag Raising Serves as Celebration of Accomplishments

Moving towards the end of the year with hope, peace, joy, and love, the Provincial Government of La Union led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega -David reflects on accomplishments and assesses personal and professional growth and progress. Realizing what serves their purpose gives more meaning and fulfillment in providing public service excellence to Kaprobinsiaan, thereby paving the way to a brighter future and continually bringing positive change to the quality of life in the province.
Vice Gov. Mario Eduardo C. Ortega and the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan including Board Member (BM) Ruperto Rillera, Jr.; BM Cynthia Angelica Bacurnay; BM Jennifer Mosuela-Fernandez; BM Harold Dave Simbuma; expressed their holiday greetings to the PGLU employees and reminded them of their importance as public servants during the first Monday Flag Raising Program on December 4, 2023. The program was hosted by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Office (SPO).
Following their messages is the oath-taking of three newly appointed and promoted employees who pledged their unwavering commitment as public servants. They were Jan Rei A. Sibaen, Information Systems Analyst I; Ryan C. Fontanilla, Administrative Aide III (Utility Worker II); and Ciolo Edmar M. Raquedan, Laborer I from the SPO.
Further, three service awards were conferred to retiring employees who have rendered notable and significant contributions to the PGLU. They were Edwin B. Abon of the La Union Provincial Jail (LUPJ) with 22 years of service; Celso L. Pang-ot of the LUPJ with 30 years of service; and Elmer V. Lacsamana from the Office of the Provincial Administrator with 31 years of service.
Ending the year with everyone’s achievements is a testament to #LaUnionPROBINSYAnihan for a better public service for all Kaprobinsiaan.
