CONTINUED LA UNION PROBINSYANIHAN EXCELLENCE

Gov Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David extended her warmest congratulations to Team Lakay La Union medalists and to the newly installed Bureau of Fire (BFP) City of San Fernando Acting City Fire Marshal.

Team Lakay La Union was awarded the Overall Third Rank in the 39th Grapplers Cup in La Trinidad, Benguet where they bagged two gold medals, one silver medal, and the Best Submission Award. Criminology student Elvester Aligan Gaspar bagged a gold medal in the Advanced Category, and La Union National High School student James Morales Duag bagged gold and silver medals in two divisions while securing the Best Submission Award, proving La Union's sports excellence.

Meanwhile, in service excellence, BFP City of San Fernando Fire Marshal SINSP Angelica Blanch N. Tactay also discussed with Gov. Rafy the different fire and disaster preparedness programs of the BFP to which the Governor committed to partner with and support. Tactay being the Chief Hazmat of the BFP La Union Special Rescue Force, 21 of their members were also present to give their commitment to La Union PROBINSYAnihan.

Gov. Rafy and the Provincial Government of La Union are in full support of the promotion opportunities for young Athletes and for empowering #AlertoKaprobinsiaan.
