BSKE 2023 Official Ballots Arrive in La Union

The official ballots for the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) to be used in the Province of La Union have arrived at the Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union on October 17, 2023, as the province prepares for peaceful and fair elections.
La Union Provincial Treasurer Janet Molina led the receipt of the official ballots and other accountable forms from the Commission on Election (COMELEC) La Union Provincial Election Supervisor Atty. Joel J. Gines represented by Mr. Romeo Balderas.
The official delivery and unloading of the items from the cargoes were duly witnessed by personnel from COMELEC, Provincial Treasury Office (PTO), some city and municipal treasurers, and local media representatives. To ensure safety and security, uniformed personnel were also deployed in the unloading and distribution area.
The total of 219 bundles of official ballots, election returns, canvassing forms, and indelible stain ink bottles, was also distributed on the same day by the PTO to the respective city/municipal treasurers for their safekeep prior to their use on BSKE, slated this October 30, 2023.
As she encourages every Kaprobinsiaan to exercise their right to suffrage, Governor Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David likewise enjoins all to take part in keeping the BSKE peaceful, safe and fair, through the spirit of La Union PROBINSYAnihan./p>
