Gov. Rafy Commends Outstanding Achievements of Luna National High School Students; Receives Mister International Team, Oya-oy Elementary School Teachers with Honor, Appreciation

Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David extended her warm commendation to the learners of Luna National High School who represented the country and won multiple awards in the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) during their courtesy call at the Office of the Provincial Governor, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Among the winners were Julius Patrick Gorospe who won gold; Czarina Mae Nalayog captured silver; while Venice Ched Corpuz, Adriane Gwayne Asuncion and Shiekainah Laberinto bagged bronze; and Marianne Grace Pacleb snag a merit award. They were accompanied by their parents and coaches led by their school principal Dr. Jovita Lopez. Gov. Rafy then assured them her full support for their future competitions.
As an active and supportive Governor, Gov. Rafy also welcomed in her office the staff from the Mister International led by their President Atty. Manuel Deldio together with Mister International Philippines President Mr. Ameer Gamana. They extended their gratitude and appreciation for the support of Gov. Rafy during their event.
Completing the courtesy call were the teachers from Oya-oy Elementary School in Bacnotan. Gov. Rafy met with the School Principal Ms. Yolanda Marquez and Ms. Teodora Domingo who won an award in the Search for Gawad DAngal ng Kultura at Integridad ng LAhiNG (DAKILANG) Pilipino in Baguio City. Marquez bagged the Natatanging Lingkod Bayan award while Domingo garnered the Pinakanatatanging Guro ng Bayan-Luzon award. They were accompanied by La Union Schools Division Superintendent Jorge Reinante and Bacnotan District Supervisor Marciano Orfiano.
