LU Surfers Win Big in surfIN Ilocos Norte

Kaprobinsiaan surfers have made an impressive ride in the national waves as they claimed Championship titles in the surfIN 2023 held at Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte on September 1-7, 2023.

Surf star Roger Casogay was hailed as Champion in the Men's Open Longboard division while Ashlee Lopez claimed the Women's Open Longboard Championship title. Furthermore, Daisy Valdez finished 2nd in the Women's Open Longboard division while siblings Jomarie and Justin Ebueza tied for the 3rd place in the Men's Open Longboard division. Jomarie also placed 3rd in the Men's Open Shortboard division.

The Provincial Government of La Union led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica Ortega-David extends its warmest commendation to the remarkable milestone of these local surfers who have once again made the province proud. This achievement is a testament that La Union continues to be a top surfing destination and is a home for Surf champions.
