The newly elected officers of the Information Officers of La Union Guild (IOLUG) committed to focus on empowering kaprobinsiaan as well-informed citizens as they took their oath before Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David on November 17, 2022 at the Office of the Governor, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Aimed to strengthen public information services in La Union, the IOLUG, which is an organization of Information Officers (IO) and IO Designates in the Local Government Units (LGU), will be propelled by their officers headed by Mr. Michael Jerome Mabanag from the City of San Fernando as the President, Ms. Maria Theresa Lynn Wailan-Senen from Santol as Vice President, Atty. Rollidel R. Concepcion from Balaoan as Secretary, Marc Jandel Buccat of Bacnotan as Treasurer, Jeffrey C. Patacsil of Naguilian as Auditor, Joel S. Rilloraza of Luna as P.R.O., Juliet C. Dawara of San Gabriel as First District Representative, and Teodoro Aspuria Buma-a, Jr. of Pugo as Second District Representative.

After taking their oath, the IOLUG Officers sat with Gov. Rafy to discuss their plans for the next three years especially in bolstering information services in the 20 component LGUs. Gov. Rafy also assured her support to the organization and their endeavors.

The PGLU will be working with IOLUG in communicating with the kaprobinsiaan as the latter affirms their commitment to be active in taking part in La Union PROBINSYAnihan.
