To better served the patients and provide premier health care and medical services to the kaprobinsiaan, Gov. Raphaelle Veronica โRafyโ Ortega David led the groundbreaking of the Naguilian District Hospitalโs (NDH) upgrading on October 5, 2022.
The upgrading of NDH will start within the year which will later on result to increased bed capacity from 25 to 50.
During the ceremony, Gov. Rafy also congratulated NDH for being one of the five district hospitals in La Union that passed three Integrated Management System Standards and were given accreditation, which is the first in the entire Philippines. More so, she commended NDH employees for their collective efforts and even challenged them to serve their patients with the best care especially since the district hospital will be upgraded.
Also present during the groundbreaking were Provincial Health Officer Dr. Eduardo S. Posadas; NDH Chief Dr. Dan William Y. Dacanay; Provincial Engineer Ressie Estrella; Burgos Mayor Delfin Comedis; Naguilian Representative Engr. Froilan Florendo; Bagulin Representative Dr. Anthony Cereno; and the Department of Health Representative Dr. Kay Sibayan.
In line with Gov. Rafyโs P.U.S.O. Agenda under the People-Centered and Driven Governance, the PGLU commits to support La Union district hospitals and their employees as they continue to deliver best medical assistance needed by the kaprobinsiaan as centered on #LaUnionPROBINSYAnihan.
