Gov. Raphaelle Veronica โRafyโ Ortega-David called for a meeting with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board and the City Government of San Fernando to urgently discuss plans and to address kaprobinsiaan concerns on transportation on August 18, 2022 at the Office of the Provincial Governor, PGLU, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The discussion was conducted to best serve the interests of commuters and resolve concerns of transport groups within legal bounds. In the meeting, Gov. Rafy mentioned the need to address all the transportation concerns of kaprobinsiaan with utmost urgency as she assured the LTFRB and the City Government of ready augmentation if needed. She also highlighted that the Transportation Scheme is one of the measurements of the progress of a City.
This is a developing news story, the Governor will be releasing her official statement upon the availability of a decision from the City Government of San Fernando, La Union on the final transportation plan and routes to be adopted.
