New Phil. Red Cross Office in LU to be Built following SP Approval of Gov’s Authorization

A new Philippine Red Cross office will be built in the province after the Sangguniang Panlalawigan has approved a resolution authorizing Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III to enter into a Deed of Usufruct with the Philippine National Red Cross in the establishment of their building in Rosario, La Union.
Authored by Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member Jennifer C. Mosuela- Fernandez, the resolution includes the terms and conditions relative to the establishment of the said building to be located in Barangay Conception, Rosario, La Union.
To recall the Philippine Red Cross is one of the partners of the Provincial Government of La Union in providing health and safety-related trainings, voluntary blood donation, disaster preparedness, risk reduction, and rescue and relief operations, hence, the two continues to forge strong ties for the benefit of the kaprobinsiaan all over the province.
