Ensuring the safety of all employees, clients, and patients of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO), led by Provincial Engineer Ressie A. Estrella, immediately deployed all engineers to conduct an inspection of all provincial government buildings and district hospitals after the earthquake last July 27, 2022.
The safety and welfare of the kaprobinsiaan are the top priority of the PGLU, especially during calamities and disasters, hence, calling for #LaUnionPROBINSYAnihan as the province recovers from the recent earthquake.
According to the assessment of the engineers, only minor cracks were found in the building walls which will be repaired promptly. Moreso, Engr. Estrella assured that all provincial government buildings are still safe and structurally sound.
Provincial roads and bridges will likewise be inspected by the PEO for the safety of the kaprobinsiaan.
