Commencing her term in leading the Province of La Union, Gov. Raphaelle Veronica โRafyโ Ortega-David leads the employees of the Provincial Government of La Union in the first monday flag raising ceremony together with Vice Governor Mario Eduardo Ortega and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) Board Members today, July 4, 2022 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, City of San Fernando, La Union.
In a speech delivered by Gov. Rafy, she ensured the continuous implementation of transformative governance by striving to perform her duties and responsibilities as Governor of the Province to better serve every Kaprobinsiaan.
She also emphasized her plan to upgrade programs anchored with her P.U.S.O. Agenda to provide quality service and great opportunities in the Province while promoting the La Union PROBINSYAnihan as a call to action to her programs which is vital in continuous perseverance to build a Stronger La Union.
โSa pamamagitan ng pagkakaisa ng bawat isa sa atin, makakamit natin ang progreso na ating inaasam para sa mahal nating La Union. Ito ang sumasalamin sa ating pagmamahal sa ating Probinsya kaya MagPROBINSYAnihan tayo.โ the new Governor underscored.
The PGLU Employees warmly welcomed the new Governor and the members of the 23rd Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members with optimism and zeal as they commit to work with competence to achieve higher goals for the Province.
Also, Gov. Rafy and the members of the SP received the Safety Seal Award from the Department of the Interior and Local Government through DILG La Union Provincial Director Reggie Colisao and City Local Government Operation Officer Lily Ann Colisao recognizing the efforts of the PGLU to be safe from CoViD-19 with its adherence to minimum public health standards.
Under the new administration, Gov. Rafy and the PGLU looks forward in providing relentless service and developmental programs to the people of La Union to improve their quality of life in continuous attainment of sustainable development and good local governance towards a progressive and #StrongerLaUnion.
