Mayor Hermenegildo โDongโ A. Gualberto formally takes his Oath of Office as the Mayor of the lone City of the Province before Gov. Francisco Emmanuel โPacoyโ R. Ortega III today, June 24, 2022, at the Diego Silang Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Likewise, Vice Mayor Alfredo Pablo R. Ortega and 12 elected and re-elected City Councilors including Kyle Nisce, Pablo Ortega, Luzan Valero, Jonathan Justo Orros, Edwin Yumol, Janwell Pacio, Rudy Abat, Arnel Almazan, Aldrine Jucar, John Orros, Macky Ducusin and Quintin Balcita, Jr. also took their oath office.
The oath-taking ceremony of the elected city officials is encapsulated in the eventโs theme, Pagsibol, which symbolizes new beginnings as the City of San Fernando together with its people gears toward the end of the pandemic and its recovery.
