Setting a record high of 1,191 transactions, the La Union Medical Center (LUMC) in partnership with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Regional Office I conducted a mobile outreach dubbed as β€œAldaw ti Propesyonal” on May 27, 2022 at the Dr. Eufranio β€œFranny” C. Eriguel Memorial Hall in LUMC.

Around 400 PIC (Professional Identification Card) holders and walk in clients from other government agencies came to avail of the PRC services that included PIC renewal, authentication and duplication, certification of board rating, good standing and passing, issuance of certificate of registration, application for examination and initial registration.

The Human Resource Management Section (HRMS) of LUMC aims to hold said activity annually as part of its continuing intervention for its employees holding professional licenses to renew their PICs and process other transactions with comfort and convenience while saving them from cost of travel and other related expenses. This is the second mobile visit of PRC at LUMC after almost two years of zero on-ground activities due to the pandemic.

Team leader Mr. Rusell Jucotan, Senior Professional Regulations Officer from the Licensure & Registration Division of PRC RO1 Rosales, Pangasinan, said in an exit interview that the Commission is set to conduct more mobile outreach programs in the entire region to deliver PRC’s services closer to clients.
