Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers Coordinator Fukui -san Masakasa and Senior Programme Officer Lara Javier from Japan International Cooperation Agency together with Former City of San Fernando Mayor Mary Jane Ortega and Former La Union Governor Victor Ortega paid a courtesy call to Gov. Francisco Emmanuel "Pacoy" R. Ortega III and Governor-Elect Raphaelle Veronica Ortega-David on May 30, 2022, Monday, at the Office of the Provincial Governor, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The international non-government agency presented their vision, plans and projects to the Provincial Governor as they shared their interest to partner with the Provincial Government in expanding their programs in the country. Gov. Pacoy and Gov.-elect Rafy warmly welcome opportunities that benefit the provincemates as a strong foundation in elevating the quality of life of the people.
The Provincial Government express its strong support to programs and projects such as this that ensure the development of the province. PGLU also aims to build stronger relationship with stakeholders as one of the indicators in shaping a Stronger La Union, a province worth living in.
