The agenda of the meeting include the updates on the status of Local Meat Inspection Service relative to implementation of Executive Order No. 138 series of 2021 or the Full Devolution of Certain Functions of the Executive Branch to Local Governments, Creation of a Committee on Devolution, and for other Purposes, updates on meat inspection service and regulations, and other relevant issues and concerns.

As part of the MSWC, a webinar on β€œOnline Selling of Meat and It’s Safety” was also conducted which was attended by different stakeholders to help them understand the policies and proper handling of meat and meat products pertaining to online selling of meat.
