In adherence to the order of Gov. Pacoy to continuously connect and carryout programs with counterparts in the Local Government Units, the La Union Provincial Library led by Ms. Marissa D. Acosta, Provincial Librarian, conducted a one-day Orientation to the City and Municipal library-in-charge in La Union on accessing National Library of the Philippines (NLP) Electronic Resources on June 8, 2021 at the La Union Provincial Administrative and Commercial Bldg., City of San Fernando, La Union.
The orientation aimed to capacitate the library personnel on the different online databases subscribed and procured by NLP for the different public libraries in the province ensuring that the province copes with the new normal and to provide ease of access of resources. These online databases can be accessed for free and made available for library users for education and research. The NLP e-resources portal can be accessed through www.launion.gov.ph.
