PGLU SUPPORTS ENTREPRENEURSHIP, JOB GENERATION AS PATHWAY TO PROGRESS

Public Employment Service Office - La Union staff assists job seekers by giving employment information during the Job Assistance Desk Program included in the BUENA MANO Trade Fair organized by La Union Entrepreneurs for Progress Association, Inc. on May 18, 2021 at CSI The City Mall, Biday, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), set up a Jobs Assistance Desk at the BUENA MANO TRADE FAIR of the La Union Entrepreneurs for Progress Association, Inc. (LUEPA) to provide employment information and assistance to jobseekers who are visiting the fair on May 18, 2021 at CSI The City Mall, Biday, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Fifty-five (55) jobseekers were assisted by representatives from PESO-La Union. In the afternoon of the same day, eight jobseekers underwent final interview at PESO – La Union, 2nd Floor, La Union Provincial Administrative Commercial Building, Quezon Ave., City of San Fernando, La Union. Five of them were hired on the spot by their employer.
The PGLU through PESO continues to collaborate with LUEPA in strengthening entrepreneurship activities partnered with employment programs that can improve the quality of life of the people in the Province of La Union.
