Enabling La Union establishments and households in the fight against the CoViD-19 pandemic, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) continues to utilize the province’s disinfection water generating facility distributing 13,843 liters of disinfection water as of March, 2021 for this year and about 45,000 liters for 2020.

The PGLU supplies disinfection water to hospitals, offices, banks, schools, local government units and La Union residents since it started distributing disinfection water on March 24, 2020.

The state-of-the art facility uses Japanese Technology to produce Soft Oxidizing Water on standard level of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point. The facility is located at Mabanag Compound, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Establishments safely use the water in misting; as footbath; for disinfection of surfaces, hands, clothes and fruits and vegetables. Although not potable, it is safe for skin/eye contact. Strictly observing the minimum health standards, establishments and residents may bring and refill their containers in the facility for free.

The PGLU continues to capacitate Kaprobinsiaan as frontliners for themselves, their families, and the community. With the united action of the government, all stakeholders, and the people, we can overcome this pandemic together and stronger.
