PGLU LAUNCHES SIRMATA PHOTO EXHIBIT

The La Union Provincial Tourism Office (LUPTO) through the Culture and the Arts Section launched the SIRMATA Photo Exhibit featuring the Top 20 of #KalikasanNaman Nature Photography entries of local photographers from the different Local Government Units of La Union on March 1, 2021 at the Mabanag Justice Hall Building, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The ribbon cutting was graced by Mutia ti La Union 2020 Divina Marie Villanueva, Mutia ti Turismo Fe Ladyma Abacco; and Mutia ti Agricultura Shaira May Soria. Also present in the opening were Executive Assistant IV Justo Orros III; Provincial Information Officer Adamor L. Dagang; and Assistant Provincial Tourism Officer/OIC - LUPTO Arthur S. Cortez, Jr.
Winners of the contest were Jeffrey Galano from Aringay as 5th place; Joel Rilloraza of Luna as 4th Place, Noriel Rullamas of Aringay as 3rd place; Manuel Acosta of City of San Fernando as 2nd place; and Kliford Gonzales of Aringay as 1st place.
With the aim to take on a different, more significant purpose of portraying the importance of conserving nature, the Sirmata Photo Exhibit will run until March 14, 2021.
