LA UNION WEATHER UPDATE, TYPHOON "AMBO"
La Union is now under TCW Signal No. 1 as of Thursday, May 14, 2020, 8PM due to Typhoon #AmboPH.
What to expect:
• Very light or no damage to low risk structures
• Light damage to medium to high risk structures
• Slight damage to some houses of very light materials or makeshift structures in exposed communities. Some banana plants are tilted, a few downed and leaves are generally damaged
• Twigs of small trees may be broken
• Rice crops, however, may suffer significant damage when it is in its flowering stage
• Areas under TCWS #1 will experience strong to near gale-force winds during the passage of the typhoon
What To Do:
✔️Inspect your house if necessary repair/fixing is needed.
✔️Clean up drainage system.
✔️Harvest crops that can be yielded.
✔️Monitor the latest Severe Weather Bulletin issued By PAGASA. (http://bagong.pagasa.dost.gov.ph/)
