In observance of the National Awareness Week for the Prevention of Sexual Abuse and exploitation, Balaoan District Hospital (BLDH) conducts an awareness lecture about existing Philippine Laws on Sexual Abuse and Exploitation at Luna National Vocational School, Luna, La Union on February 18, 2020.
Social Welfare Officer I Leizlee Ann Espinueva discussed Republic Act 7877 or Anti-Sexual Harassment Act and Republic Act 11313 or Safe Spaces Act to 104 Senior High school students with the aim to reduce the risk factors and occurrence of sexual abuse in children and adolescent.
