Ortega III spearheads the recognition of the 2019 Ten Outstanding Police Officers of La Union on October 22, 2019 at the Diego Silang Hall, Capitol Building, City of San Fernando, La Union. Awardees were PLT Arcelie O. Pang-Ag for Investigation; PSMS Frederick G. Godoy for Intelligence; PSSG Roberto L. Concepcion Jr. for Criminalistics; PSSG Roel T. Caoile for Human Resources Development; PSSG Rhoda Liza L. Poon for Health Service; PMSG Eva M. Rala for Police Community Relations; PCPL Ana G. Reyes for Special Operations; PCPL Renato N. Ancheta for Traffic Management; PSSG Rommel E. Picle for Anti – Narcotics; and PEMS Nieva Liza C. Castro for Administrative Management.
