BDH Holds HIV Advocacy Lecture in Poblacion, San Gabriel

Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Nurse Counselor Jeffrey Julian presents the facts and figures of the increasing HIV positive cases during the advocacy lecture to the Sangguniang Kabataan of Poblacion, San Gabriel, La Union on September 28, 2019. Open forum, counselling and testing were also conducted by BDH HIV counsellors and medical technologist. This activity is one of BDH’s strategic project entitled, “Education and Advocacy on Sexually-Transmitted Infections (STIs) and HIV Transmission Prevention among Locals, Tourism Workers, and Tourists in the Central Agri-Tourism Circuit; and Provision of HIV Counselling and Testing Services to Interested Individuals/Groups/Organizations/Institutions.”
