PGLU Wireless Mesh Infrastructure Enters Final Phase

Installed Provincial Government of La Union Wireless Mesh Infrastructure stands still at Kudal Park, Bagulin, La Union as inspected by Information and Communications Technology Unit spearheaded by Mr. Gerry D. Binas-o, Mr. Freshnedie Cellona of PCCRAFT Computer Technologies Inc., and Ms. Dolores Villete of the Office of the Provincial Accountant on July 16, 2019 in the Province of La Union.
An aerial inspection on the Provincewide Wireless Mesh High Speed Local Network Backbone Project was conducted by the Provincial Government of La Union through the Information and Communications Technology Unit (ICTU) on July 16, 2019 in the different sites around the Province of La Union.
With the aim to deliver public services effectively and efficiently through real-time data transmission from provincial to counterpart municipal offices across the province, the project is now on its final phase.
Mr. Freshnedie Cellona of PCCRAFT Computer Technologies Inc. who leads the aerial inspection showed the installed poles, specifically on the locations that are not accessible by the means of land transportation.
Inspected sites included Lettac Norte, Santol; Kudal Park, Bagulin; Lacong, San Gabriel; Nagrebcan, Bauang; Cataguingtingan, Rosario; Santa Lucia, Aringay; San Antonio, Aringay (Macabato Way); Ambitacay, Agoo; and Bariquir, Naguilian (Casilagan Way).
The inspection revealed that all nine poles have their backhaul radio, antenna, RF cable, lightning arrester, pull box, circuit breaker, surge suppressor, outlet, UPS, grounding rod, and power installed.
This project is also expected to provide a cost-effective and time-efficient provincial and municipal transactions and vice versa.
