Mr. Jeffrey Julian, nurse and member of the Tobacco Cessation Smoking Committee of Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) elaborates to the patients at the out-patient department about the ill-effects of smoking on June 17, 2019 at BDH, Bacnotan, La Union. As discussed by Mr. Julian, smoking causes cancer in almost any organ of the body and it affects a person’s overall health because of the 7,000 harmful chemicals contained in cigarettes including 70 carcinogens or cancer-causing ingredients.
