PGLU PARTICIPATES IN CAMPUS JOB FAIR

Provincial Government of La Union through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), took part in the conduct of campus jobs fair on June 6, 2019 at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) Mid – La Union Campus.
In said activity conducted in coordination with DMMMSU-MLUC and the Department of Labor & Employment, 2,805 job vacancies were opened for hiring for local employment.
Local jobs available were production operators, production workers, customer service representatives, teachers, service crew, tourism-related staff, merchandisers, office staff and skilled workers. There were 37 lucky jobseekers who were immediately hired on the spot from the 623 registered jobseekers.
The event was also graced by the DMMMSU-MLUC Chancellor Dr. Eduardo C. Corpus, La Union PESO Manager, Ms. Charito C. Dator and DOLE – La Union Field Office Representative Ms. Ester P. Prepose.
The Civil Service Commission – Regional Office I (CSC – RO1), Social Security System (SSS), Technical Education and Skills Development (TESDA) La Union Provincial Office and Phil Health also joined the campus job fair to provide pre-employment services to jobseekers.
