57 Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) returnees coming from the provinces of La Union, Pangasinan and Ilocos Sur attended a Financial Awareness and Small Business Management Training (SBMT) on June 11, 2019 at 5th Floor, LUPAC Building, Quezon Ave., City of San Fernando, La Union.

National Reintegration Center for OFWs (NRCO) – Region I Coordinator Iries S. Mason facilitated the activity with the assistance of Ms. Charito C. Dator, Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager who discussed PESO programs & services for migrants concern.

This seminar-training aimed to assist and transform the mindset of OFWs and their families to understand the different aspects of a business, business establishment and management leading them to become successful investors and entrepreneurs and improve their means of earning a living. NRCO works closely with other Department of Labor and Employment agencies, such as the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, and the PESOs.
