Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is celebrated through blessing of palm branches representing the palm branches the crowd scattered in front of Christ as he rode into Jerusalem.
Do you wonder what happens to palms after Palm Sunday? Most palms are displayed at home and are burned on Ash Wednesday the following year. The ashes are used to mark parishioner’s foreheads.
