HAPPY 17TH ANNIVERSARY LUMC! La Union Medical Center (LUMC) personnel participate in the activities during the 17th Anniversary Celebration with the theme “Building strong solidarity, and unity among employees towards a bigger, better, and stronger LUMC” on April 8, 2019 in Agoo, La Union.

April 08, 2019 was indeed a very special day for La Union Medical Center (LUMC) as it celebrated its seventeenth year anniversary with the theme: “Building a strong solidarity and unity among employees towards a bigger, better and stronger LUMC.”

The celebration started with a thanksgiving mass at the hospital chapel followed by the blessing of the new ambulance of the hospital provided by the Provincial Government of La Union led by Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III. Shortly after, the 2019 LUMC Bodylympics formally opened wherein five competing teams battled against each other in the games that taught them to strategize, coordinate, communicate, and most especially bond with their fellow employees.

In his welcome remarks during the opening ceremonies, Dr. Glenn Ernest M. Fonbuena, Chief Executive Officer IV of LUMC reminded everyone that they are the very reason why LUMC continues to get stronger and bolder through the years, to which the latter responded with resounding joy and applause.

Through social media, employees documented every single moment worthy of capturing that spurred different feedback and reactions. The conduct of the team building games is geared towards the attainment of the goals and objectives of the Gender and Development Program of LUMC as well as foster camaraderie among its personnel.
