CDH STRENGTHENS HEALTH AWARENESS

STRENGTHEN PUBLIC AWARENESS. As part of 169th Anniversary of La Union and 45th CDH Founding Anniversary of Caba District Hospital (CDH), Health Education Promotion Officer Chenee Rose B. Managan and Kristine Joy Gapuz facilitate the Information Education Drive on March 4 and 8, 2019 at the Health Booth of the Provincial Health Office, District Hospitals and La Union Medical Center, Agri-Tourism Village, Capitol Grounds, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Ms. Teodora M. Sudiacal of Caba District Hospital facilitates the distribution of Information Education Campaign (IEC) materials and back scratches to the first 45 senior citizens who visited the Agri-Tourism Village during the Information Education Campaign activity of the hospital on March 4 and 8, 2019 at Agri-Tourism Village, Capitol Grounds, City of San Fernando, La Union.
As part of the celebration of 169th Foundation Anniversary of the province and the 45th founding anniversary of Caba District Hospital (CDH), the CDH staff led by its Chief of Hospital, Dr. Gretchen F. Aromin conducted an Information Education Drive at the Health Assistance Booth of the Agri-Tourism Village, Capitol Hill, City of San Fernando, La Union on March 4 and 8, 2019.
The said activity was participated in by the different visitors of the Agri-Tourism Village. They were given IEC materials on the different health programs of the hospital which included Infection Prevention and Control, Handwashing, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Smoking Cessation and Senior Citizen Program.
In celebration also of the 45th CDH Founding Anniversary, the first 45 senior citizens and 45 individuals who actively participated in the question and answer portion were given prizes such as back scratches and hygiene kits by the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU). Questions were derived from the different IEC materials given.
According to Dr. Aromin, the said activity was an opportunity of the hospital to inform the public regarding the health services and programs of the hospital. It also introduces the hospital brand of CDH which is focused on Care of the Elderly, Service with Compassion, in line with Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III’s vision for a Happy La Union and Healthy La Union by 2022, with the 5 District Hospitals as Centers of H-ealthier and satisfied patients, O-utstanding and modern facilities, P-rofessional and compassionate personnel. E-quitable and inclusive services (H.O.P.E).
