WOMEN’S HEART HEALTH. In celebration of the National Women’s Heart Health Month, Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) and Lorma Medical Center Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) conduct a Women’s Cardiovascular Well-being lecture on March 18, 2019 in Bacnotan, La Union. Dr. Romeo G. Molano, interventional cardiologist of Lorma, talks about acute coronary syndrome (ACS), commonly known as heart attack to 63 women participants coming from various sectors of society such as senior citizens, market vendors, fire and police officers, teachers, and representatives from the Local Government Units in the Central Agri-Tourism Circuit. The activity aims to empower women to take full control in caring for their heart health and over-all well-being.
