Luna Community Fish Landing Center Awarded

COMMUNITY FISH LANDING CENTER INAUGURATED. Provincial Agriculturist Ramon F. Laudencia congratulates the fisherfolks sector of Luna, La Union during the Awarding of Community Fish Landing Center (CFLC) Project on February 12, 2019 at Barangay Rimos No. 5, Luna, La Union. The project is established under the Targeted Action to Reduce Poverty and Generic Economic Transformation in the Fishery Sector (TARGET) Program of the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources aiming to improve the socio economic welfare of the fisherfolk sector and promote the sustainability of aquatic resources. This will also serve as hub for landing and trading fish and other seafood products and training center for fish processing, value adding and conservation and protection of fisheries resources in the municipality.
