Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) nurses educate women and expectant mothers on family planning, pregnancy, and maternal and new-born care at the out-patient department on November 13, 2018. Among the topics tackled were the benefits of enrolling to PhilHealth with its Newborn Care Package; such activity is regularly during the hospital’s pre-natal day to achieve the health goal of Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III which is “Healthy La Union, Happy La Union by 2022.”
