The Macro Vision Consultancy (MVC) conducted systems audit for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) on May 21 to 23, 2018 in preparation for the Provincial Government of La Union’s (PGLU’s) re-certification for the international standard.
Mr. Deck Vinluan and Mr. Enrico Pendon of MVC conducted the audit to the 18 departments and seven divisions. The PGLU offices have a total of 60 quality procedures and one quality manual including the Management Review, Internal Audit and Document Control procedures.
The Dry Run Audit focused mainly on the revisions of the offices’ Procedures; Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) Analysis; Risk Assessment Registry; Needs and Expectations of the Interested Parties; and Opportunities Action Plan. These plans will enable the organization to determine factors that shall ensure processes were adequately resourced and managed, and that opportunities for improvement were determined and acted on.
ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system.
The PGLU offices and hospitals became ISO 9001:2015 QMS certified on February 23 to 24, June 7 and September 18 to 19, 2017 consecutively.
