GOV. PACOY TO DELIVER HIS 2ND SOPA

Governor Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III will deliver his second State of the Province Address (SOPA) on May 24, 2018 at Speaker Pro Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Provincial Legislative Building and Session Hall, Provincial Capitol, San Fernando City, La Union.
Around 200 guests and personalities including national and local government officials, provincial and regional line agencies, NGOs/CSOs are invited to attend and witness the SOPA which will be conducted during the 99th Regular Session of the 21st Sangguniang Panlalawigan; 3:00 in the afternoon.
The SOPA will highlight significant achievements and accomplishments towards the province’s vision to position La Union as the Heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025 and how the province fared versus its set targets as well as the province’s standing in the national scorecards such as the Seal of Good Local Governance, Performance Governance System and Quality Management System vis-à-vis the province’s financial management. The Governor will also report on the current workings as well as programs and projects for implementation this year and next and will set the compass for new work paradigm shifts and innovative strategies.
The SOPA will be aired via live streaming in the official Facebook page of the Provincial Government of La Union and through local radio stations such as Bombo Raydo La Union, Love Radio La Union, My FM La Union and Rock City FM.
