PGLU Conducts Facilitation Training Program of the Agri-Tourism Strategy

Office for Provincial Strategy (OPS) conducted the Facilitation Training Program of the Agri-Tourism Strategy on April 25-27, 2018 at National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Conference Hall, City of San Fernando, La Union.

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the Office for Provincial Strategy (OPS), organized a three-day seminar-workshop on Facilitation Training Program of the Agri-Tourism Strategy held at the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Conference Hall on April 25-27, 2018.

The training-workshop was attended by 24 participants from different offices. The said training-workshop aimed to promote and develop the facilitation skills of participants to strengthen the Financial Stability, Economic, Resilient Community and Organizational Management (FERO) Sectors of PGLU.

With a desire to develop their skills, participants from different departments eagerly joined to join the training-workshop acknowledging it was the right avenue to get involved in the walk-through process for Agri-Tourism Strategy.

To ensure the attainment of the participants crave for knowledge, significant techniques were demonstrated. Participants have undergone a series of modules on Basic Group Facilitation Methods Manual; 5-Step Designing Model; Action Planning and Recascading Process Walk-through which were facilitated by the Governor’s Consultant, Ms. Agnes Grace Cargamento, and Ms. Michaela Louise T. Delfinado of the OPS.

The training-workshop served as a follow up session to the Secretariat Training Program held in Vigan City on October 24-27, 2017.
